What are the differences between Android and iOS?

Here are the key distinctions between the two systems:
Android:
1. Very customization. In the UI, you can alter just about everything. Add widgets, alter launcher, adapt results …

2. Linux centered. Open source operating system. You can display and change the file, and build your own Android (ROM) distribution.

3. Many applications were built using JAVA.

iOS:
1. Not customization. You can change the sounds on the wallpaper and the machine.

2. Not Source Available. Software proprietary. There are no ROMs in there. You are not permitted to load your own ROMs.

3. Apps built using Objective-C (shortly after Swift).

It is not possible to tell which one is better, in an unbiased way. Every consumer and his / her needs depend on it. Yet Android ‘s versatility does comes with a cost: stability and easiness of use.

You can install a lot of widgets and change most aspects of the UI, but sometimes it comes with a price: higher battery consumption, higher CPU usage, higher load times, errors … However, simplicity and configuration means it will be easier to use the program if you’re not in Ios, since it’s more complicated.

iOS is very static with virtually no configuration options. This is an benefit in the way the system is stable, simple, very robust, and since iOS is specifically built to only run in iPhones, the overall flexibility is better than Android (which has to operate in thousands of different devices from different brands).
