Platform as a Service (PaaS)

As the name itself indicates, “platform” means it gives a complete technical platform to the customer, such as hardware, software, and infrastructure for developing and deploying the application.

The advantage of PAAS is that it supplies networking, storage, server, operating system (OS), etc.., and a complete cloud platform to the user for developing and running their application without worrying about building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure required to develop and launch the app.

Infrastructure as a service (IAAS)

It is an infrastructure-based cloud computing service that provides complete infrastructure like supporting web applications and services based on user facility. As it is based on storage and infrastructure, the customer has to use this on a pay-as-you-go basis based on their demand.

It reduces the cost of buying and managing physical servers and data infrastructures. It increases the scale and performance of IT workloads and reduces the expenditure on buying external hardware tools.

Test and Deployment

Before launching or introducing a product or application, it should be tested to know its performance. The product is tested to know whether it shows good scalability and reliability for a large number of users.

Cloud Computing helps organizations or companies test their product before deployment. It checks the product’s load balancing. Load balancing is nothing but how the product works when many users use it. Everything is checked in one location, which reduces the risk to the IT infrastructure of the client.

Multi-cloud and Hybrid cloud

The name itself indicates that the organization uses one or more cloud services such as public and private cloud or both public and private cloud. Organizations do not depend upon single cloud vendors, and they have the option to use multiple cloud technologies for faster service and reliability.


The difference between multi and hybrid clouds is that the latter combines two or more different cloud types while multi-clouds combine different clouds of the same type. Examples include Azure Stack, Azure Arc, Google anthos, and VMware Cloud. It allows the data and applications to be shared between a private cloud with a public cloud.

The name itself indicates that big data consists of a large amount of data, which is remotely stored in cloud storage. Cloud operates on the data based on the client’s requirement, and the cloud provides software as a model and a platform for the users to access the data. The cost-efficiency of using a data warehouse is reduced for organizations, and data integration is maintained in cloud storage.

Data Backup

Data or applications stored in the cloud can be retrieved whenever clients needed. If the user loses his phone or a technical fault occurs on a desktop, cloud storage provides the backup file of the client.
